Gregory Kiro 24 Short Review
I've been testing out this Gregory Kiro 24 pack for the last few weeks. It's a new day pack designed for up to 20 lbs. I like the mesh back and elastic waist belt that helps to keep the pack in place and remove some of the weight from your shoulders while still breathing.

It has two side pockets, one with a zipper and the other has elastic, which is a great spot for a water filter that may be wet. The zippered pocket can provide for more secure storage, or I really liked putting my snacks in the pocket, so it was easy to get to when I stopped.
There is a good amount of room in the main compartment with a hydration pack sleeve. It is roomy for a day pack, without being so large that you will bring way too much with you. It was a good balance for spring Colorado hikes, fitting a couple layers, snacks, med kit, etc. There is also a front zipper pouch that provides a key attachment point and room for smaller, quick access items.
The from has a stretch mesh pocket which worked well for storing a jacket, especially when wet. It worked well for even a puffy jacket as I warmed up while hiking.
Overall, this is a great day pack for lighter to moderate loads. If you were carrying more than 20lbs for awhile it might be nice to have a frame and a little more support, but for shorter hikes, or light loads it works great.
